We will be there again in 2026: The vgbe Chemistry Conference 2026 will take place at the Hyperion Hotel in Hamburg from October 20 to 22, 2026. At the accompanying trade exhibition, we will provide insights into our solutions for sampling, sample conditioning, and analysis in the water-steam cycle of power plant chemistry.
Trade Show, Focus on SWAS and Power Plant Chemistry
The annual chemistry conference hosted by vgbe energy e.V. provides a comprehensive overview of current and forward-looking topics in power plant chemistry, water treatment, conditioning, analytics, and chemical monitoring. The focus includes chemical processes in water-steam cycles, industrial steam generators, cooling water systems, electrode boilers, cyclic plant operations, as well as new requirements arising from hydrogen, CO₂ capture, and Power-to-X applications.
For operators of energy and industrial facilities, reliable sampling systems, consistent sample conditioning, and precise analytical technology are becoming increasingly important. Especially in light of more flexible operating modes, rising safety requirements, and increasing automation, robust chemical monitoring is a critical component of safe and efficient plant operations.
For many decades, Dr. Thiedig has been developing and manufacturing systems for sampling, sample preparation, and analysis of water-steam cycles, as well as for other demanding industrial applications. Dr. Thiedig is represented locally in partnership with Dr. Leye GmbH. As a subsidiary, Dr. Leye complements the portfolio with sampling and analytical measurement technology for power plants, as well as automation solutions for water treatment and wastewater treatment.
