1939

Foundation of the company Dr. Thiedig & Co by Dr. Werner Thiedig in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

The foundation of the company Dr. Thiedig & Co by Dr. Werner Thiedig in Berlin-Kreuzberg goes back to a long family history. Dr. Werner Thiedig founded the company at the end of the 1930s.

With great technical talent, inventiveness and ingenuity, Dr. Werner Thiedig develops technical devices such as high-pressure metering pumps, apparatus, valves, piston compressors, microscopes and laboratory supplies.

1954

Development of modern sampling technology

In cooperation with VGB and the German power plant industry (Siemens KWU, BBC, Hartmann & Braun, etc.) modern sampling methods are developed.

1956

Takeover of the licensed production of oxygen analyzers according to a patent from the Federal Institute for Materials Research (Prof. Toedt, Dr. Teske) for Hartmann and Braun

The analyzers "Elcoflux" for trace oxygen in gases and "Oxyflux" for trace oxygen in boiler feed water are continuously being further developed.

1967

Death of the founder Dr. Werner Thiedig

The two sons Hans-Jürgen Thiedig and Bernd Thiedig take over the company with new ideas.

1984

Move to the new company headquarters at Prinzenallee 78-79 in Berlin-Wedding

The industrial monument, built in 1928 by Bruno Buch, meets all the increased requirements of the expanding company.

Acquisition of Dr. Leye GmbH Analysentechnik

Dr. Thiedig acquires Dr. Leye GmbH, which specializes in sampling and analytical measurement technology for power plants and systems for automation in water treatment and wastewater treatment.

Takeover of the company EWT-Laborsysteme

With the acquisition of EWT-Laborsysteme, the company is further expanding its expertise in the field of laboratory technology.

Change of name - Philipp Thiedig joins the management board

The previous managing director Hans-Jürgen Thiedig hands over the management to his ambitious and experienced son Philipp Thiedig.
