Sampling and analysis systems for the water-steam cycle in power plants and process steam generators are state of the art today. Monitoring a variety of parameters in the water-steam cycle enables operators to optimize water chemistry and protect expensive investments, such as steam turbines, from corrosion.In power plants with frequent load changes and fluctuating pressures, technicians usually have to adjust the sample flow manually with a pressure reducing valve. The Dr. Thiedig AutoFlow allows operators to automatically maintain a constant flow rate during changing pressures. The AutoFlow is a prerequisite for automating new or existing pobenahme equipment. The flow rate can be kept constant at a set target value between 15 and 65 l/h at a process pressure of up to 400 bar.
