The AutoSafe 6 is a robust and efficient mechanical temperature protection valve that protects downstream analysis systems and personnel from excessive thermal stress, for example in the event of a cooling water failure. Safety shut-off systems are used to shut off the sample flow when the sample temperature is too high, such as when the cooling water fails or when the sampling cooler is defective. They prevent extremely hot sample material from flowing through the measuring instruments and destroying them or injuring operating personnel.

AutoSafe mechanical safety shut-off system. It uses a thermostat system for the switching operation and is therefore independent of a power supply. It can be used for pressures up to 300 bar. A signal contact for fault indication or as a switching contact is available as an option.

Electronic temperature switching device TempControl. The TempControl detects the temperature at the sample outlet and activates the associated safety shut-off system when a freely selectable limit temperature is exceeded. The system remains closed until the fault has been rectified and the corresponding acknowledgement has been received. During the fault, a potential-free contact signals a corresponding alarm.
