Strong and easy-to-use standard cooler for high cooling water flow rates
Overview

The PE 02 standard cooler can be used for cooling water and steam up to max. 268 bar pressure and up to 550 °C depending on the material.
A sample thermometer at the outlet is part of the standard equipment.
The special design allows the cooling of samples with high cooling water flow rates and thus achieves large cooling capacities.
Cooling capacity: 55 kW
Cooling water pressure: PN16

  • VGB/DGRL or ASTM compliant
  • Cooling capacity: 55 kW
  • Cooling water pressure: PN16
Advantages
  • Non-ferrous metal-free and available with chloride-resistant cooling coil
  • the removable cooling jacket allows easy cleaning of the cooling coil
  • designed for enthalpy rich dams
  • compact design due to one inner and one outer cooling coil
About Sampling Cooler

High pressure sampling coolers from Dr. Thiedig are designed for use in sampling systems in power plants. Cooling under pressure was one of the pioneering VGB guidelines for analyzer systems in power plants. Dr. Thiedig has implemented this guideline in compact coolers with high cooling capacity for water or steam samples. The selected materials guarantee the required strength and corrosion resistance at high pressures and temperatures.

Advantages:

  • High cooling capacity due to cross-counterflow cooling principle
  • Optimum cooling water flow for good heat transfer
  • Highly corrosion-resistant cooling coils also for extreme temperatures and supercritical operating conditions
  • No chemical falsification of the sample due to the use of austenitic material
