The PE 11/12 cation exchanger neutralizes the alkalizing agent in the sample by exchanging the cations with H+ ions and thus enables measurement of the residual conductivity for quality control by exchanging the cations with hydronium ions.
Variants with 1.5 l or 3 l cartridges for the exchanger resin are available. A burst protection (3.5 bar opening pressure) protects the cation exchanger. All parts exposed to acid are made of plastic.

Dr. Thiedig's cation filters are a necessary addition to the Thiedig sampling system.Dr. Thiedig always uses regenerable exchange resins with a color indicator. The color indicator shows the used zone of the cation filter and gives the operator information about the remaining service life of the filter. With Dr. Thiedig cation filters, the exchanger vessels are easy to change and allow the operator to maintain the system quickly and easily.
