The pressure reducing valve is designed as an angle valve.
The valve seat has a bore of 2 mm and is easy to replace. The spindle tip has an angle of 20°. In conjunction with the differential thread, the valve can be adjusted very finely.
- applicable up to 320 bar at 200°C
- Connection R1/2"
- kv value = 0.15 m3/h (m3/h at Δp = 1 bar)
- Fine adjustment by differential thread
- Forged valve body made of 1.4571
- Replaceable valve seat made of 1.4571
- non-ferrous metal version also available
Dr. Thiedig has developed special components for the secondary circuit of nuclear power plants. This application requires high demands in terms of function, safety and tightness. Among other things, special sampling coolers, cation filters (pressure-resistant), bellows valves and pressure reducers have been developed for this purpose. All components can be manufactured in requirement level AS 3, some in AS 2.
Advantages:
- special components for the primary circuit
- high safety standards
- Production in requirement level AS 3 (in some cases even AS 2)
In accordance with VGB guidelines, the pressure of the sample water is reduced after cooling. This prevents, for example, the precipitation of salts and thus ensures representative sampling. Special accessories are available for high requirements in terms of function and safety. In addition, reducing the pressure only when the temperature is lowered massively increases the service life of the valves.
Advantages:
- Pressure reduction up to 400 bar
- Simple and robust design as a needle valve
- Replaceable valve seat for abrasive media
- Differential thread for easy operation
- Adjustment of smallest sample flows due to special corner design of the needle valve
