Pressure reducer VS 61
Nuclear
Sampling technique
Adjustable valve for reducing inlet pressures to a constant outlet pressure
Overview

The VS 61 pressure reducer is a valve specially designed for the NPP range to reduce inlet pressures of up to 250 bar to a constant controllable outlet pressure of 0-12 bar.

  • Connections R1/2" or SZ10
  • kv value = m3/h (m3/h at Δp = 1 bar)

Advantages
  • Designed for use in the primary circuit
  • no electronic components and therefore insensitive to EMC
  • Friction brake

About Sampling Cooler
Product category
Components NPP

Dr. Thiedig has developed special components for the secondary circuit of nuclear power plants. This application requires high demands in terms of function, safety and tightness. Among other things, special sampling coolers, cation filters (pressure-resistant), bellows valves and pressure reducers have been developed for this purpose. All components can be manufactured in requirement level AS 3, some in AS 2.

Advantages:

  • special components for the primary circuit
  • high safety standards
  • Production in requirement level AS 3 (in some cases even AS 2)
