Sampling technique
Continuous sampling device with integrated conductivity measurement and laboratory sampling option
Overview

The PE E sampling device is used for continuous sampling from the process. PE E has an integrated online conductivity measurement upstream and downstream of the strongly acidic cation exchanger and the additional option of laboratory sampling. The basic version of this sampling device consists of the following main components from Dr. Thiedig:

  • Shut-off valve
  • Blow-off valve (optional)
  • High pressure sampling cooler with temperature measuring point and optional cooling water fittings
  • Pressure reducing valve
  • Sample distribution (VB 1x or VB 2x)
  • Cation filter (PE 15 or PE 14)
  • 2 conductivity measurements or 2-channel Lf with flow-through vessel (separate quotation or customer provision)
  • Drain funnel
  • Mounting plate from 600 x 1,000mm (WxH)

Advantages
  • Space-saving arrangement for centralized or decentralized installation
  • Ensuring a high quality standard through a high proportion of in-house production

About Sampling Cooler
Product category
Sampling equipment

Sampling devices are used for continuous or discontinuous sampling from the water-steam circuit. These devices consist of standardized components for liquid or vapor samples. The design of the devices follows the specified measuring tasks and basically distinguishes the following types:

  • PE A (laboratory sample)
  • PE B (laboratory sample & 1x measurement)
  • PE C (laboratory sample & 1x cation conductivity measurement)
  • PE D (laboratory sample & 1x cation conductivity measurement & 1x pH measurement)
  • PE E (laboratory sample & 1x cation conductivity measurement / specific conductivity measurement in the same sample string)

The standardized facilities can be supplemented with additional measurements and accessories to meet specifications.

Advantages

  • Space-saving arrangement for centralized or decentralized installation
